We’re so excited to announce that our Gem Collection in partnership with The Trevor Project is expanding—and LGBTQ+ pride rings are finally here!
Holden was founded back in 2018 as a wedding ring company for all couples, as we heard heartbreaking stories from many who were made to feel unwelcome or judged by traditional jewelers while wedding ring shopping. Since then, it’s been our greatest pleasure to be there with our LGBTQ+ couples while they celebrate the love they’ve found with their partners.
Within the past year, we launched our completely gender-neutral engagement ring collection, as well as our first-ever everyday fine jewelry collection, which includes gender-neutral necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Last June, we introduced our Gem Collection in partnership with The Trevor Project, to which we donate $50 for each piece sold from the collection. Through our work with The Trevor Project, we aim to provide LGBTQ youth with the opportunity to grow up with the love and support that we’ve seen so many Holden couples celebrate at their weddings.
This year, we want to further our impact with this live-saving organization, as it’s given us such great pride to aid in their mission of facilitating better futures for LGBTQ young people. For many on our team, the work they do hits home on a very personal level, especially given all of the disheartening recent controversy and rulings surrounding these communities. It’s a huge part of why we’re so thrilled to release the styles included in our expanded Gem Collection, as we strongly believe in celebrating the diverse identities and experiences within the LGBTQ+ community!
We’re launching gemstone versions of some of our most beloved ring styles (rainbow colored pride rings included!), along with our new gemstone stud and huggie earrings. The Pride Royal Flush can be made with gems that will correspond with the colors of different pride flags: Rainbow Pride, Lesbian Pride, Gay Pride, Bisexual Pride, Transgender Pride, Intersex Pride, Pansexual Pride, Nonbinary Pride, Asexual Pride, Genderfluid Pride, Agender Pride, and Genderqueer Pride.
