As part of our goal to minimize our environmental impact, we're proud to announce that we've committed to partnering with Climate Neutral to measure, offset, and reduce Holden's entire carbon footprint. Starting with calendar year 2020, we've committed to achieving zero net carbon emissions.
While we're excited to take this step, we also want to take a moment to acknowledge that this commitment, by no means, makes us a sustainable brand. To be frank, we're not quite sure if such a thing can ever exist -- so long as new products are created, there will always be a contradiction between sustainability and consumption.
As a brand, our goal is to balance each of our commitments to:
1. Our customers, by delivering quality products and exceptional customer experience
2. Our employees, by offering job opportunities, benefits, and career growth
3. Our values, by creating a more inclusive world where every couple can feel seen and cherished
While working towards each of these goals, we pledge to be as responsible and conscious about our environmental impact as possible. In the following slide, we've detailed some of the steps we've taken and some areas where we know we need to improve. We hope that by this time next year, this list will look completely different.
